Money can be one of the most stressful things in the world. After I quit my job, I started worrying more about money. I have my freedom fund to live off of–it’s not that I’m broke–but it still makes me kind of nervous not to have that cash infusion I used to get every two weeks.
I know many of you struggle with money, so I thought I’d share one of the most inspirational guys around when it comes to personal finance. He and his wife paid off $18,000 in debt, sold all their stuff, and freed themselves to travel around the world, tour the US in an RV, and follow wherever their dreams may take them next. Here’s a little about how he did it and what he recommends.

I know the times I’ve been in debt, it really stressed me out and made me feel trapped. Many of you have written that your financial problems are the main thing keeping you from your dreams, and I hate to see that. I want everybody to be free to live the life they want, whatever that looks like.
That’s why I’m sharing this: Baker is launching a new program to help people pay off their debt and get their finances on track. It’s a six-week video-based course designed to create an environment for success. It’s set up with a short video lesson and worksheet for each day (20-minute daily commitment), with an accountability day each week and a community of like-minded folks for support.
I’ve seen some samples, and what really impresses me about it is that he doesn’t just give the usual basic advice about budgeting and paying off debts, he also tackles the underlying reasons why we get into debt in the first place and how to change your thinking to get out and stay out.

That’s an affiliate link–this program looks so awesome, I’m happy to support it. In fact, if you end up buying it through my link, email me your receipt and I’ll also send you “Don’t Freak Out” and “Nailing Down Your Fears” from Beyond Fear. After reading these two modules, one of my participants said they were so informative, he didn’t know what I was going to say in the rest of the workshop! Not to worry, I have plenty more to say. 🙂
