I believe that, if everyone did the work they love, we would create heaven on earth. The more time we spend in our zone of genius, the happier we are.
For me, that means writing, creating, and publishing. (You can check out more of my publishing projects at Project Bestseller.)
But what’s up with the name 17000 Days?
Here’s the story behind 17000 Days. One day, I happened to be reading a blog post that talked about the idea that life is short. Not exactly a new idea.
But this post talked about how to figure how just how short it is—with actual numbers. It turned out, my projected death date was 10/10/2056. To be specific, the day I read that post, I had 17,011 days left.
The next day, it was 17,010. Then 17,009, 17,008, 17,007…
When the big number rolled over to 16,999, I knew I had to stop wasting time and start living now.
At the time, the coolest dream I could think of was to become a blogger, so that’s what I did.
(17000 Days made a lot more sense as the name of a personal development blog. The idea was to make the most of each day. Don’t even get me started on the people who downgrade me to 1700 Days!)
From blogging, I started writing books. That grew into publishing my own books and publishing books for clients. I learned to launch books to bestseller and use them to start an empire.
Now, my dreams are bigger than ever before… and it's so much fun building them and watching them come true.
17000 Days is all about making the most of your life and living your dreams. I hope you’ll join me.

No claim is made that the results discussed on this site are typical. Most self-published authors sell fewer than 100 copies in the lifetime of the book, and most people who want to start a business make a few feeble attempts and then quit before they make any money, or they just talk about it and never even try.
